The goal of the project is to develop a new generation of surface-active products for the pulp and paper industry based on renewable raw materials that will replace petrochemical-based products. The target is to validate the technology of a full scale produced product during normal operation at Rottneros bruk. The project is a collaboration between BIM Kemi (developer and producer of the product), Chalmers (technology and chemical expert), Rottneros (customer of the product) and Lantmännen (supplier of raw material).

Budget & time plan
The project’s total budget is 6 MSEK and the project runs during two years – between June 2022 and May 2024.
