The purpose of the project is to be able to create conditions for a market introduction of RTF packaging with advanced geometry and thereby reduced the use and need for plastic packaging. A lot of packaging in society that today is made of plastic can be replaced with this technology. Nationally and internationally, there are many players who want to link their products to an environmentally friendly packaging. This concept increases the value of Swedish forest raw materials. Conversion from plastic packaging contributes to reduced carbon dioxide exposure, increased recycling, and reduced amounts of microplastics in nature.

The project’s total budget is 4.37 MSEK and the project runs between May 2021 and December 2022.
