The project ran between June 2023 and September 2025.
The project has created a good platform for understanding the complexity and the need for new knowledge for a value chain for green chemicals with its base in forest biomass. A clear exchange of experiences and knowledge happened which has overall raised awareness of what is required to be able to create successful and competitive value chains of biomass. Examples of this are new process technology and regulatory and politically defined classifications and names for materials and products.
