The project ran between June 2022 and November 2023.
The project aim was to create a value network for valorisation of spent yeast residual streams by simultaneously developing process logistics, material properties and applications in two different market segments. The focus was on biobased raw materials that can be extracted and used in industrial processes. The consortium designed new value cycles so that today’s streams are handled efficiently to produce new raw materials.

Spendrups Brewery, Ragn-Sells Recycling AB, Akzo Nobel Adhesives AB, Byggelit AB, DS Smith Packaging Sweden AB and RISE Research Institutes of Sweden AB.

The project’s total budget was 3 MSEK.
