The project’s aim is to create a value network for valorisation of spent yeast residual streams. Furthermore, the project pursues developing process logistics, material properties and applications in two different market segments. The focus is on bio-based raw materials that can be extracted and used in industrial processes. The consortium will design new value cycles so that today’s waste streams are handled efficiently to produce new raw materials.

Budget & time plan
The project’s total budget is 3 MSEK and the project runs during 18 months – between May 2022 and November 2023.
