The project ran from May to November 2022.
This project aimed to test a composite material based on clay and nanocellulose for filtration of drinking water. The idea was based on well-established research that has shown the possibility of easily adjusting the material composition. The project aimed to develop filters in this way and test the feasibility of these filters for small volumes of water using existing test beds for water filters (created a few years ago via a VINNOVA project). If the stability and performance are acceptable, further studies would undertaken to develop a commercial product.
Participants
Vattencentrum (Campus Roslagen AB), Arcadia AB and Vatteninfo Sverige AB.
