3D-printed and bio-based specialty packaging – step 2

The project ran between September 2018 and October 2021.

The project aimed to develop, optimize, and test prototypes for disposable and return packaging made from bio-based materials. This would be achieved by incorporating biomass into granules used for 3D printing packaging. The purpose of the project was to reduce the proportion of fossil-based packaging and achieve more efficient transportation of goods. The project sought to utilize an inexpensive bio-based raw material that could contribute to the circular economy.
